We can say the Bixby Vision in the Samsung Galaxy S8, is an intelligent assistant function that detects elements and places. With the former does not work as well as with the latter but perhaps if the improvement improves in the future can become interesting. But new improvements are expected with the Samsung Galaxy S9.
In different tests, we have taken the Samsung Galaxy S8 for a night stroll, and the quality of the pictures is amazing. The video also behaves well even in complicated situations. The only improvement is the preview, which makes it look like the pictures are not going to look great, when in fact it is. And, Galaxy S8 performed really well. And the performance level will be comparable in the Samsung Galaxy S9.
In the S8, the front camera is another surprise, and it is noteworthy that Samsung has endeavored to improve this section although it is a function that many consider secondary. Doing selfies at night without a flash is a real option and while the detail is not the same as day but neither makes the annoying noise. Also, filters with masks are fun and encourage the use of this camera. In the recent news, it was said that Samsung has developed a 1000fps selfie camera for the Samsung Galaxy S9.
In the first test of battery life, we have been testing the terminal indoors, reading and playing Hearthstone but also benchmarking, as well as updating the system. In exterior, we have used it although less and with little brightness to be at night. We have reached the 4 hours and half of screen with 17 total hours of battery life. These results are better than any of the iPhone in the market. But a few smartphones are ahead in the battery life to Galaxy S8. So, we want powerful and long-lasting battery in the Samsung Galaxy S9.
In the second test of battery life, we have been using the mobile exclusively under Wifi, playing a lot, testing applications and processing photos, in addition to recording some videos of the applications used. We arrived at the 6 hours and half of screen with 17 total hours of battery life, which is again an interesting result achieved by Samsung. In the third test of battery life we went out to take pictures at night, and videos. Also, we have used Google Maps and called in a couple of times. We have also installed and tested numerous applications. We have arrived at 3 hours of screen with 24 hours total life. So, this we can call as interesting results, hope the powerful processor of Samsung Galaxy S9 doesn’t kill its battery life.
So, coming back to the new standard in a smartphone, Galaxy S9 should feature a better selfie camera, and bixby 2.0. Rest all is going to be cool with next Galaxy, because S8 is already perfect.
